De-Days: The beginning
In 2019, the De-Days took place in the prestigious auditorium of Palma, attracting a multitude of renowned international speakers. This inaugural event established De-Days as a premier networking platform in the field of emerging technologies of digital transformation. More than 350 participants from 25 countries found their way to Mallorca. Over 70 international speakers shared their knowledge. A startup pitch - the winner received €50,000 - and many network sessions rounded off the event.
De-Days: The second round
However, the year 2020 presented unforeseen challenges as the world grappled with the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the need to cancel the planned event at Puro Beach Club in Palma, the De-Days team showed remarkable adaptability and resilience. They devised a creative alternative, hosting a scaled-down version of De-Days in autumn, inviting a selected group to join a unique experience on boats. Combining gin tasting, tapas, and networking, this innovative approach ensured that the spirit of De-Days endured, even in the face of adversity.
The next De-Days
Now, in 2023, De-Days is back, stronger than ever before. The organisers are filled with anticipation for the third iteration of the event. With the valuable lessons learned from previous years, De-Days promises to surpass all expectations. The team has curated an exceptional lineup of speakers, industry-leading experts, and developed an engaging program that showcases the latest breakthroughs in web 3.0 and AI, digital twin and virtual tourism, and decentralised finance and blockchain.
